Our Mission
CICD’s mission is to empower youth and adults of disadvantage and disaster affected communities with life changing and career focused educational training and thus to enable a productive community.
CICD intends to provide most (if not all) the students a FREE OF COST career training. This is achievable through Private Donors, State EDD and Federal Government programs and grants aimed to increase the productivity and employment of pandemic displaced work-force.
Organizational Purposes
As we come out of the once a life-time pandemic induced economic disaster, the lower end of our workforce is going to face a life changing reality.
Millions of non-college-educated adults and youths are going to find it difficult to grapple with reality of fewer number of jobs and opportunity. This sector of the workforce needs to be trained with career programs that are going to be a fit for the ever-changing labor market demands.
CICD’s operational roadmap is to have an on-going development of career programs that are in immediate demand and have a long-term sustainability.
The programs are going to cover Information Technology, as well as Office Management. As the mode of workflow is going to change due to unforeseen and uncertain elements brought in by the pandemic, a successful person should be able to work in-person or in a remote fashion in an office. As an example, but not limited to, any individual who successfully complete our relevant programs should be able to work as a certified ‘Information Data Analyst or an Office Administrator.
The focus of programs is on ever-changing needs of IT and Office Administration. A typical program length is going to be 3 months – 6 months.
